Located behind Station 3 on South Union Street, the Training Facility includes a burn building, roof simulator, and extrication pad. Construction of the facility was completed in April 2024.
The training grounds provide our firefighters with numerous training opportunities to master skills including:
- Fire suppression
- Vehicle extraction
- Search and rescue with victim removal
- Water supply
- Pump opperations
- Ventilation
- Rope rescue
This facility is a critical tool to retain our current firefighters and recruit new members. It keeps firefighters and apparatus in our district while training, allows us to meet State and Federal training requirements, and provides a place to collaborate with our partnering agencies on emergency preparedness including Gates Volunteer Ambulance, the Ogden Police Department, and the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.
