It’s that magical time of year again! Santa Runs are back in the Spencerport Fire District! We’re thrilled to continue this long-standing tradition in our fire department’s history, something both our firefighters and our community look forward to every year. We can’t wait to bring holiday cheer to every corner of the district once again! Here are a few helpful reminders about how this year’s runs will work:
Runs begin the weekend before Thanksgiving since the holiday falls later in November. Starting early helps Santa and our firefighters reach as many streets as possible!
All runs begin at 6 PM. Bundle up, grab some hot cocoa, and listen for the sirens and holiday music as Santa comes through your neighborhood!
- Our fire trucks are staffed with on-duty firefighters. If an emergency comes in, they may need to respond immediately. This could result in some streets being missed. Santa and our team thank you for understanding that safety always comes first.
- Runs are weather dependent. Snow and wind may be merry, but dangerous conditions could cause delays, cancellations, or rescheduling.
Two trucks will be out on November 28th and December 12th spreading twice the cheer and covering more neighborhoods, as shown in the schedule below.
- For safety reasons, main roads are not included in the schedule. Keeping our firefighters and the public safe is our top priority during these festive visits. Visit us on the closest side street to you.
Follow the Santa Runs Facebook page for nightly updates and track Santa’s exact location so you won’t to miss him!
