SPENCERPORT, N.Y. – Spencerport firefighters participated in several live fire evolutions at our Training Facility in the month of October.
This training simulates a majority of elements our members could encounter in a building fire. Our members practiced skills including hose line advancement, fire suppression, search & rescue, ventilation, ladder placement, and water supply.
We now have the opportunity to complete live fire evolutions at our Training Facility on South Union Street. This keeps our members and apparatus in the district instead of using a neighboring department’s training grounds.
The video shows an up close view of how we use the burn building to make our training evolutions as realistic as possible so we’re ready when needed.
