DISTRICT PROFILE

The Spencerport Fire District was formed in 2002 after the Village of Spencerport Fire Department (formed in 1890) and the Ogden-Parma Fire District (formed in 1927) consolidated. We proudly provide service to the citizens of Spencerport, Ogden, and in the south end of Parma in Monroe County, New York. Our district covers an area of 38.6 square miles with a population of over 19,000 residents. The Spencerport Fire District contracts with the Chili Fire Department to cover the southeast corner of the district and with the Churchville Fire Department to cover the southwest corner of the district. The Fire District is governed by 5 commissioners, a secretary, a treasurer, and an attorney. The day to day firefighting operations are handled by 12 line officers consisting of a chief, deputy chief, 2 assistant chief’s, 3 captains, 3 lieutenants, and 2 safety officers who are elected by the firemen’s association and approved by the commissioners. We operate out of three stations with 10 pieces of apparatus and 2 chief’s vehicles. To view them see the APPARATUS PAGE.
